Have you made your New Year's Resolutions yet?

Did you know that 30% of Brits will be setting New Year’s resolutions this year? And 91% of them won’t keep them.  Almost a quarter (23%) will have quit by the end of the first week. And almost half (93%) will have quit by the end of January.

The most popular resolutions are to do with health: Exercise More (40%) - Lose Weight (35%) - Improve Diet (33%).

So buying a Gym membership won’t work. Joining Weight Watchers or Slimming World won’t work. You think it might so you'll spend the money. Gym memberships rocket in January and attendance drops away sharply in February.  And you’ll find some excuses like ‘I don’t have the willpower’ to make yourself feel better when you quit.

Willpower has nothing to do with any of this.

It’s the same reason why people in business promise that 2024 is going to be a great year. They even lay out plans and targets and for them this year will be very much like last year or maybe worse.

I’m leading a marketing workshop in Wells on the 18th but most attending won’t do anything different with the practical, proven insights I give them, because even with the best intention, unless you implement this one little hack, nothing major is going to change.

Let me know if you would like to know more (if you want to start or grow a business or want to improve your health).
