Could this make a difference?

I'm just going out for my afternoon workout in the rain, as part of the #75hardchallenge. And it's given me an idea that I'd like to share with you.
Could this make a difference?

I have a germ of an idea I’d like to share with you. A mastermind, radically different from anything I'm aware of, but with the potential to make a significant difference to your business as it has done to mine.

Let me explain.

Running a business requires both mental fitness and resilience if only to meet the challenges of the roller coaster ride of entrepreneurial life. Are the dips on the roller coaster why most start-ups fail in business, at least once?

#75hard Challenge for Business" is a concept inspired by the 75hard challenge.

Originally designed as a fitness program, 75 Hard is so much more than that — it's more of a mental fitness program designed to raise your game.  At any one time, 100,000 people around the world are taking the challenge.

Briefly, this is it: two 45-minute workouts every single day for 75 days. Yes, you read that right.   But that's not all. You also need to down 3.78 litres of water daily, read 10 pages of a non-fiction book, capture your progress through photographs, and commit to a healthy diet with zero alcohol or cheat meals. Skip any part of the regimen and you have to start over on Day 1.

It's a holistic approach that fuels your mind, body, and spirit.  I recorded the video below on day 35 but tomorrow (Saturday 15th July) I will have reached day 45 with just 30 days to go.

Quite rightly, you might be wondering; "What does this have to do with my business?"

Everything!  Success in business is doing the right things rather than the easy stuff. It's about those small, consistent actions that compound over time. Focusing only on the actions that make a difference. The sales pipeline, reaching out to prospects, honing your skills — these are the catalysts for growth.

Watch the video below to hear more about the "75 Hard" challenge and how I think it relates to business.

Health, fitness, diet and hydration are important if we are to stay fit and cope with the stresses of business. Commitment to the daily actions we need to take to get in front of more people interested in our services. When working on your own, even when you know what needs to be done, it becomes easy to default to doing things that keep us busy at the expense of action on the things that generate income.

Having structure around the ‘actions that make the boat go faster’ is the difference between average results and exceptional results and I’d love to discuss what you think those actions might be for you.

I know from the results I'm seeing, following a daily action plan (now established as a habit - I've dropped almost a stone), we can translate this into an action plan for a business to produce any result we desire.  (I’ve just had two of my best months so far this year).

But what do you think?  I have my own thoughts about what we could be included in the program but your contribution to the discussion would be particularly valuable.

Let me know if this might be interesting enough for us to brainstorm.
